We are excited to announce that the library has joined a state wide initiative Amnesty for All to waive all patrons fees and fines starting March 26th, 2020, the day the library closed due to the COVID19 pandemic. Library Board members and staff members want to eliminate any barriers for our community to use library services. We understand that many in our community are struggling financially at this time and want to make sure that money is not an issue to be able to access library resources. There is no need to call the library to have the fines or fees waived from your account. Fees and fines will automatically be done.
Library Board of Trustees and staff members are looking forward to the day that we can return to normal operating hours and providing services. We are utilizing re-opening guidelines issued by Kentucky and working diligently to be able to provide full library services. We appreciate your patience as we try to get protective guards installed for our circulation desks and computer carrels. Purchasing sanitizer, masks and gloves is very difficult at this time as all organizations and businesses are trying to access these supplies.
