A Little History
Beginning in 1960, with only a small bookmobile, our Trimble County Public Library was established into the county.
It wasn’t until 1975 that a physical building, located in Bedford’s court house square, was purchased to house the library. Since then, the library continued to grow, and in September of 2010, construction began on a new building. Just a year later, in September of 2011, the library moved to its current location; taking the place of Bedford's Equity Tobacco Barn. Throughout the building, one can find many re-purposed materials that were used from the original Equity Barn. |
